Natural gas can be transported not only by land, mainly through pipelines, but also by sea.<\/p>\n

Maritime transport offers clear advantages over land transport, such as the ability to move large quantities of gas over very long distances, offering greater flexibility and security of supply. It also reduces the geopolitical risks associated with land transport. This versatility makes it possible to respond more effectively to natural gas supply needs on the global market.<\/p>\n

In order to be transported safely and in large quantities by ship, natural gas has to be liquefied. The gas is cooled to a temperature of -163\u00b0C, transforming it from a gaseous to a liquid state. This reduces its volume by more than 600 times.<\/p>\n
