It also reduces the geopolitical risks associated with land transport. This versatility makes it possible to respond more effectively to natural gas supply needs on the global market.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be transported safely and in large quantities by ship, natural gas has to be liquefied. The gas is cooled to a temperature of -163\u00b0C, transforming it from a gaseous to a liquid state. This reduces its volume by more than 600 times.<\/p>\n<p>With 60 years of expertise and feedback, GTT&#8217;s technologies are the benchmark for maritime transport and storage of liquefied natural gas.
